The main break is just a 300-meter walk from the main road, taking you past serene rice fields and coconut groves.
Beyond the main break, the Pelabuhan Ratu area offers a variety of waves to suit all skill levels:
- Indicator Point: A shallow reef break that comes alive on big swells (7 ft+). This spot offers a long, constant wall with a perfect tube section, ideal for a speedy, high-performance ride.
- Karang Papak: A great alternative when Cimaja is crowded or the swell is small. This is a fun, workable wave that is less demanding.

This itinerary is designed to maximize your time in the water and ensure you experience the full range of West Java’s surf spots.
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Pelabuhan Ratu Upon your arrival at Soekarno Hatta International Airport (CGK) in Jakarta, our staff will welcome you. We’ll immediately begin the 6-7 hour drive to Pelabuhan Ratu, with our provided transportation ready to accommodate you and your surf gear. We will check you into your lodging and you can rest up for the adventure ahead.
Day 2–5: Surf Around Pelabuhan Ratu Each morning, your personal surf guide will meet you to discuss the day’s conditions and pick the best spot. You’ll spend four full days exploring the diverse waves of the Pelabuhan Ratu area, from the main break at Cimaja to the powerful walls of Indicator Point. We will arrange all necessary transportation and support to ensure you get your best waves.
Day 6–8: Surf Around Sawarna On day six, we’ll transfer you to Sawarna, a consistent surf spot that is a reliable alternative when swells are small elsewhere. We’ll have lodging near the breaks, allowing you to surf whenever you want. We will also have time to explore the beautiful natural and tourist destinations in the area.
Day 9–12: Surf Around Ujung Genteng The tour continues as we head to Ujung Genteng. You’ll spend four days exploring and riding the waves at world-famous spots like Turtles Point and the legendary Ombak Tujuh. We’ll stay in accommodation close to the beach, giving you easy access to the breaks. Beyond surfing, we will also take you to local attractions like the Cikaso Waterfalls and a nighttime turtle-watching excursion where you can witness turtles laying their eggs.
