Escape to Paradise: Explore Tidung Island 2D1N via Muara Angke

Tired of the city hustle? A short trip to Tidung Island is the perfect solution. As the largest island in the Thousand Islands archipelago, Tidung offers a unique mix of relaxation, adventure, and local charm. The island is known for its twin nature: a small, uninhabited conservation forest and a larger, inhabited island where friendly locals welcome tourists. This tour is your chance to disconnect from your routine and reconnect with nature.

A Twin Island Getaway

Tidung Island is divided into two distinct parts: Big Tidung Island and Small Tidung Island. The smaller island is a pristine conservation area with a lush mangrove forest. It’s a serene, uninhabited space that is perfect for nature lovers. Big Tidung Island is the residential hub, where a community of 6,000 people lives. Most of their livelihoods depend on tourism, making the locals exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They rent their homes as cozy homestays and provide everything you’ll need for your trip, from snorkeling gear to bicycles.

Experience Tidung Island

Tidung Island offers a variety of activities to suit every taste, all within a well-preserved natural environment.

  • Snorkeling: The clear, calm waters around Tidung are perfect for snorkeling. You’ll get to explore vibrant marine conservation areas and witness beautiful coral reefs and tropical fish. Our tour includes a snorkeling trip to Payung Island and Small Tidung Island.
  • Cycling: One of the most popular ways to get around the island is by bicycle. The flat terrain makes it an enjoyable ride, perfect for exploring scenic spots and local areas.
  • The Bridge of Love: This iconic bridge connects Big Tidung and Small Tidung islands. It’s the most famous landmark on the island and a favorite spot for tourists to take photos, especially during sunrise.
  • Relaxation: On the west side of the island, you’ll find peaceful “saungs,” or huts, by the beach. This is the ideal place to unwind, sip on a young coconut, and simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
  • Eco-Green Activities: For a more hands-on experience, you can choose to participate in mangrove tree-planting, a fun and rewarding way to contribute to the island’s conservation efforts.
  • Beachside BBQ: What’s a beach trip without a fresh seafood BBQ? Our tour includes a delicious barbecue dinner with freshly grilled fish, making for a perfect end to your day.
