Baluran National Park

Java is one of the most densely populated islands in the world, but on this island anyway, we can still find many savannahs, grasslands, and forests. One of them is Baluran National Park. In Baluran National Park we will be treated to views of nature complete with wild animals that live in it, it is very similar to the African nature, it’s no wonder Baluran National Park has the nickname Little Africa in Java.

Ijen Crater

Ijen Crater is located on the top of mountain Ijen, the mount is located on the border area between Banyuwangi regency and Bondowoso regency, is one of a unique international tourist destination, it has a charming sunrise and blue fire, one of the natural phenomena that we can see every night, there are only two blue fire in the world, one in the crater of Ijen and one in Iceland.

ITINERARY

Day 1
21.00 – 22.00 Gathered at the meeting point and then briefing.
22.00 – 00.00 Journey from Surabaya to the of location Baluran National Park on the border of Situbondo and Banyuwangi, this will take for approximately 7-8 hours by road.
Day 2
00.00 – 03.00 Continued journey to Baluran National Park. 03.00 am we will arrive at the gates of the Baluran National Park.
03.00 – 04.00 From Baluran National Park gate we will take 1-hour drive again to get into the National Park and arrived at the beach Bama.
04.00 – 07.00 Arrives on Bama the beach, we will take the short break while waiting for the sunrise, then we get to the location on the edge Bama for watching birds.
07.00 – 08.00 During this hour we could swim at Bama beach and snorkeling.
08.00 – 09.00 Breakfast at stalls available near homestay in Bama Beach.
09.00 – 11.00 Off Bama beach, we will trek to Savana Bekol, as long as we could trekking we will observe the flora and fauna living in Baluran National Park, there are many types of vegetation in the savanna Bekol, we can also directly observe wild animals such as deer, Java bison and groups of birds that live in the area.
11.00 – 13.00 We will arrive in the Savannah Bekol, here we are going to break, lunch and rest.
13.00 – 16.00 After lunch and rest we will get out of Baluran National Park and then proceed to the hotel at the foot of Mount Ijen.
16.00 – 19.00 Check in hotel, and then free activities.
19.00 – 20.00 Dinner
20.00 – 00.00 Free activities and rest.
Day 3
00.00 – 01.00 Preparation and packing for hiking Mount Ijen.
01.00 – 02.00 Trip from the hotel to Paltuding, From here we trek and hike mount Ijen.
02.00 – 04.00 Hiking to the top of the crater, during the ascent we will meet with traditional sulfur miners who are just starting mining activities.
04.00 – 06.00 Enjoy the blue fire of Ijen Crater and next sunrise, two natural wonders that occur every day in the crater of Ijen.
06.00 – 07.00 After enjoying blue fire and sunrise of Ijen we will trek down of the crater.
07.00 – 08.00 Breakfast at local restaurant in Paltuding.
08.00 – 14.00 From the slopes of Ijen we will go back to Surabaya and end this trip, lunch at a local restaurant during the trip back to Surabaya.
14.00 – 15.00 Arrived in Surabaya, all participant will be transferred to the Meeting point, and then separation.

Note for non-Indonesian Citizenship Participant will be charged additionally about IDR. 200.000,- for different entrance ticket of National Park
