Explore Baluran National Park and Ijen Crater 3D2N

Itinerary

Day 1 – Surabaya – Baluran (L|D)

We will pick you up at Juanda International Airport – Surabaya in the morning, after an introduction to our tour guide, we will directly go to Baluran National Park on the border of Situbondo and Banyuwangi districts, this will require time for approximately 6-7 hours, we will arrive at Baluran afternoon, after completing our licensing administration, we will go directly to the Inn around Bama beach, inside Baluran National Park. On the afternoon we could swim at the beach or relax while enjoying the afternoon. On 7 pm dinner will be served, then free time and rest.

Day 2 – Explore Baluran (B|L|D)

Get up early morning, we’ll enjoy the beautiful sunrise on Bama beach, after that we could walk a little to the Birds Watching site and watch many kind of birds around the area, next we will go back to the inn and breakfast then break for a moment. At 09:00 am we will head toward Bekol savanna and enjoy the feel of the wild, here we can watch some wild animals such as Java bull, antelope, peacocks and many other wild animals.

After we explore Savanna Bekol we will leave Baluran National Park and head toward the foot of the mount Ijen via Banyuwangi, the trip will take for approximately 3 hours, upon arrival at the foot of Mount Ijen we will check in at the hotel and rest.

Day 3 – Explore Ijen (B|L)

On 00:30 am we will leave the hotel and get ready to go to the first post of Ijen crater ascent by vehicle, when we arrived in the post, we will take a short break while completing administrative permissions. Next we will climb to the crater of Ijen for about 1.5 hours to witness the natural phenomenon called blue fire or blue flame, a charming natural wonders, we can enjoy it until sunrise. Next we will go down to the post. during the ascent to the crater of Ijen, there are many traditional sulfur miners who work with simple equipment to transport sulfur from the Ijen crater to the foot of Mount Ijen.

Arrived in the post, we will have breakfast and break. Approximately 09.00 am, we will leave Ijen crater and back to Surabaya to end this tour program, we will arrive in Surabaya around 14:00 pm. Tour finishes.
