At the slopes of Mt. Bromo, we can find the historic and mystical waterfalls, this waterfall was identified as a hermitage place of prime minister of Majapahit kingdom, Gajah Mada. Madakaripura Waterfalls can be reached about 45 minutes from Bromo area. Upon arrival at the main gate of the waterfall, you have to walk around 20 minutes following the river stream to reach the waterfalls, with a height of approximately 100 m, it is the tallest waterfall in East Java. I suggest you to use sandal, because this waterfall area wet and slippery. When you turn left and right you can see the moss covers the body of the rock wall, because of wind gusts containing water make it grow and turn into green cliffs.
