Itinerary: Your Journey to Paradise
Day 1: Surabaya to Sempu Island
Your adventure begins late at night. All participants will meet in Surabaya for a quick briefing before starting the journey to Sempu Island in South Malang. The trip will take about 5 hours, so you can rest in our comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle.
Day 2: Sempu Island & Mount Bromo
We will arrive at Sendang Biru Beach in the early morning. You’ll have time to rest and enjoy a hearty breakfast.
- Journey to the Hidden Lagoon: We’ll cross to Sempu Island by a local fisherman’s boat. From the landing point, we will take a short trek to Segoro Anakan, a spectacular lagoon hidden within the island. This natural pool is connected to the open sea through a small cave, creating a peaceful and stunning swimming spot.
- Lunch and Departure: After enjoying this hidden paradise, we’ll trek back to Sendang Biru Beach for lunch and a short break.
- Travel to Mount Bromo: In the afternoon, we will begin our drive to Mount Bromo, a scenic 6-hour journey. Upon arrival in the Bromo area, we will check into our hotel for a much-needed rest.
Day 3: Mount Bromo & Return to Surabaya
The most anticipated day of the tour begins with a very early start.
- Mount Bromo Sunrise: We’ll wake up at 2:00 AM and head to the viewpoint of Penanjakan in a sturdy FWD vehicle (a “Hardtop”). We’ll wait for the sun to rise, and as it appears, you’ll be treated to a spectacular panorama of Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Mount Semeru.
- Crater Trek: After the sunrise, we’ll drive down to the vast “Sea of Sand” and trek to the crater of Mount Bromo. You’ll be able to peer into the smoking crater and feel the immense power of this active volcano.
- Breakfast & Departure: We’ll return to the hotel for a well-deserved breakfast before packing up. Our tour concludes with a drive back to Surabaya, where we will arrive in the afternoon.
