Belitung 3D2N Itinerary: A Glimpse of Paradise
Day 1: Arrival & Tracing the “Rainbow Warriors”
Your journey begins with a morning flight from Jakarta to Tanjung Pandan, Belitung’s capital. Upon arrival, our guide will meet you, and we’ll immediately begin our tour. Our first stops are the serene Goddess Kwan Im Temple and the nearby Burung Mandi Beach, both offering a peaceful start to our adventure.
Before noon, we’ll head towards Manggar, where we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant and take a short break. Afterward, we’ll dive into the heart of the “Laskar Pelangi” story by visiting the Rainbow Warriors Gallery in Gantong and the replica of the famous elementary school. You’ll get to see the settings that inspired the famous book and movie, feeling the spirit of perseverance and friendship that captivated so many. In the afternoon, we’ll check into our hotel, and after a short rest, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner before spending our first night in Belitung.
Day 2: Island Hopping & Sunset on the Beach
We’ll start our second day early with a visit to Kaolin Lake to witness a stunning sunrise. This former mining area is now a picturesque lake with striking blue-green water and white kaolin formations—a truly unique photo opportunity. After the sunrise, we’ll head back to the hotel for breakfast.
Next, we’ll make our way to Tanjung Kelayang Beach, our gateway to the island-hopping portion of the tour. We’ll board a boat to explore a few of Belitung’s famous small islands, including Lengkuas Island with its iconic lighthouse, Bird Island, Batu Berlayar Island, and Pasir Island. Lunch will be a relaxing affair, served on one of the islands as you unwind on the beach.
After our island adventure, we’ll return to Tanjung Kelayang and continue on to Tanjung Tinggi Beach to catch the sunset. This beach, famous for its massive granite boulders, is the perfect place to watch the sun disappear below the horizon. Once the sun has set, we’ll head back to the hotel for dinner and a well-deserved rest.
Day 3: Culinary Treats & Departure
After breakfast, we’ll check out of the hotel. Before heading to the airport, we’ll visit a local souvenir center for some last-minute shopping. We’ll also make sure to savor a bowl of Mie Atep, a typical Belitung dish that’s a must-try for any visitor. Once we’re satisfied, we’ll drive to Tanjung Pandan Airport for our flight back to Jakarta, concluding our tour.
