Padang & Tanah Datar Full-Day Tour
This tour package takes you to some of the most interesting destinations in and around Padang and the Tanah Datar Regency in West Sumatra. You’ll visit Lembah Anai Waterfall, an iconic landmark located right next to the main road. The tour also includes a stop at Fort Van Der Capellen, a well-preserved Dutch heritage site. You’ll then visit the majestic Pagaruyung Palace, where you can even rent traditional Minangkabau clothing for a unique photo opportunity. Finally, you’ll explore the beautiful Singkarak Lake and take in its wonderful landscape.

Itinerary
Day 01 :
Padang & Tanah Datar
- 8:00 AM: We'll pick you up at the airport, your hotel, or any other designated location in Padang city. We'll then drive to Tanah Datar. On the way, we'll stop to enjoy Lembah Anai Waterfall.
- 9:30 AM: We'll continue the 1-hour drive to Tanah Datar.
- 10:30 AM: Upon arrival in Tanah Datar, our first stop is Fort Van Der Capellen, a Dutch-built fortress that witnessed the war between the Adat and Religious factions, with Dutch involvement. The fort is still in excellent condition.
- 11:30 AM: Next, we'll visit Pagaruyung Palace. Here, you'll learn about the history and culture of the Minangkabau people and see their traditional clothes and weapons. You can also rent traditional attire for photos.
- 12:30 PM: Break for lunch at a local restaurant.
- 1:30 PM: We'll drive about 1.5 hours to our next destination, Singkarak Lake.
- 3:00 PM: At Singkarak Lake, you can enjoy the beautiful view and take photos.
- 4:00 PM: We'll begin our 2-hour drive back to Padang city.
- 6:30 PM: Arrive in Padang city. We'll drop you off at the airport, your hotel, or another location within the city. The tour ends.
