Mount Bromo located in the area of National Park of Bromo Tengger Semeru which occupies four districts in East Java Province, are Probolinggo, Malang, Pasuruan, and Lumajang. To reach mount Bromo you can take the overland trip to Cemoro Lawang Probolinggo, and then you can hire Jeep Hardtop to go to Penanjakan sunrise viewpoint and explore seas of sand and the crater of Mount Bromo. This mount was popular with the very-very beautiful sunrise view, the tourist has to climb early morning to the top of the mount to enjoy the beautiful moment of sunrise between the mountains and active crater of Bromo, the perfect place to enjoy sunrise is in the Penanjakan. If you’re lucky, when you get down of the mount, you can see rainbow extended above seas of sand between the cliffs which surround that area. In addition to enjoying the sunrise, you can also enjoy the landscape of National Park Bromo Tengger Semeru, Mount Batok and Mount Semeru, seas of sand and the wide caldera and the hill of Teletubbies and “Pure Poten” or Poten temple which is located at central of seas of sand, this place usually used for religious ceremonies by the local peoples of Tengger tribe.

Itinerary
(Optional add tour) 09:00am If you want to add Madakaripura waterfall tour before Bromo, we have to start this tour 1 hour earlier, if not then we will start the tour as follow.
11:00am We will pick up you at your hotel or any places in Malang or Batu city, take simple introduction with our crew and short brief of the tour. Then departs to Cemoro Lawang at the foot of Mt. Bromo, this will takes around 3-3,5 hours drive depends to the traffic conditions.
02:00pm We will arrive at Cemoro Lawang village at the foot of Mt. Bromo. Take a short rest. Next we will exchange our transportation into 4wd car (Hardtop) and takes another one hour drive to Mt. Bromo. The first we will do trekking to the crater rim of Bromo, we will also watch in close up to the Poten temple in the central of sea of the sands, visit photo stop at the sea of sands.
05:30pm Enjoy the wonderful sunset of Bromo at Penanjakan view point, here you can also watch the stunning landscape of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park.
07:00pm Back to Cemoro Lawang village, take a rest and lunch.
08:00pm Transfer you back to Surabaya, takes another 3,5 hours drive.
11:00pm Finish the tour in Malang or Batu.
